Each year, at the annual meeting and luncheon, the Bexley High School Alumni Association honors its Distinguished and Honorary/Honored Alumni. A maximum of three persons are honored in each category.

Over the years, our Distinguished Alumni Award recipients have included such honorees as a Miss America, a couple mayors, a world-renowned researcher, a stage and screen actress, famous writers and empire builders, researchers, and folks without whom there would be no alumni association. 

The criteria for the selection of recipients of the Distinguished Alumni Award includes an alumnus who has achieved outstanding accomplishments, honors or recognition for meritorious work in their chosen field of endeavor or on behalf of their community.

Criteria for the Honorary Alumni Award includes someone, other than an alumnus, who has exhibited outstanding service on behalf of the Bexley school community.

Criteria for the Honored Alumni Award includes an alumnus who has exhibited outstanding service on behalf of the Bexley school community.
