4th of July Festivities Move to Capital University

Partially due to construction at Jeffrey Mansion and a decision to bring the fireworks back to Bexley, all 4th of July festivities this year, other than the John Barr 5K and the parade, will take place at Capital University.  With the exception of the fireworks, which will go off near Capital's tennis courts, all events will be held on the front lawn at the dead end of Drexel Avenue.  Capital is being used for the fireworks because of the installation of the new field at the high school and construction of the new additions to the Cassingham Road campus.  Times and events are tentative.
