Caroline “Bebe” Baird
Mason – Glenmont NY
I am so very proud of
my big brother, Nick ’58, who is to be honored as a Distinguished
Alumnus in September. I am looking forward to our 50th and
connecting with classmates to discuss “What now?” after marriage,
children – careers.
Carole Hoehn
Snyder – Cocoa Beach FL
I have replaced all
of the grass in our yard with easy-care, drought-tolerant plants and
pine bark mulch. The hard work is paying off with lots more
flowers, butterflies, anoles, etc. I’m active with the Cocoa Beach
Garden Club and the local library and am a tax preparer with H&R
Block during tax season. Jack is the Veterans Committee Chairman in
the Cocoa Beach Elks Lodge. He is in charge of fundraisers and
special events to honor and assist our area’s veterans. This year
he received the coveted Veteran Volunteer of the Year from the Elks
Association National Headquarters. He is recovering from recent
knee replacement surgery. This fall we plan to cruise our
motorsailor around south Florida’s coastal waters and the Keys.
Snowbirds: we have lots of ideas and suggestions for winter
destinations in this area. Email me about this or for any other
reason:

Bonnie Sue Simons
Beeferman – Bluffton SC
After 16 years of life
on beautiful Hilton Head Island, we got tired of being inundated by
tourists and purchased a beautiful home (one year old model home
with all the bells & whistles) in Bluffton, the first town on the
mainland off the island.

Nancy Hurwitt Lingo –
Brentwood CA
I’ve been living in the San Francisco Bay area since 1978,
except for 2 years in Florida. We have 3 children and 3
grandchildren. I really enjoy my grandchildren and love to babysit
as they are all in this area also. I got my BA from Northeastern
University in Boston and my MBA from Santa Clara University. I
worked as a computer programmer in Silicon Valley until retirement
10 years ago. Both my husband (from St. Charles) and I are retired.
We’ve enjoyed world travel and sailing. I am “Queen” of the Red Hats
now.

Jim Schomaker –
Buena Vista CO
I retired nearly six years ago as SVP of Bank of America and since
that time have been living the active outdoor life here. My wife
Karen of nearly 45 years and I are enjoying skiing, snowshoeing,
biking, hiking and RVing. I joined the giant slalom downhill ski
team this past winter and really enjoyed competing again! I have
been keeping busy by serving as the president of our local Optimist
Club and also of our homeowners association, but still make time for
touring the country in our 34’ RV. I would love to hear from some of
my old friends from the Class of ’60.

Bonnie Sue Simons
Beeferman – Bluffton SC
In August I moved,
after 15 years, from the tourist resort of Hilton Head Island to
this beautiful new community on the “mainland.” Health issues have
forced me to give up my work as Dictionary Lady (providing approx.
20,000 free dictionaries to local students). After 14 years, I know
I will miss it, but sometimes age and health win out!

Jessie Wile Stern –

I retired five years
ago after 25 years as a medical journalist and I am now devoting my
time to my knitting and jewelry designing. I have collected glass

I have created finished jewelry for many glass bead makers. I also
teach design at a local bead store. My husband, Marc, retired and
was rehired as a communications contractor with the U.S. Public
