Frank J. Reed, Jr., class of 1984, was recently awarded the William
Schneider Award by Franklin County Republican Party Chairman Michael
Colley for Reed’s outstanding leadership and service to the Franklin
County Republican Party. Reed served two years in the administration of
Governor George Voinovich and 8 years in the administration of Ohio
Attorney General Betty Montgomery. He currently serves as a member of the
Franklin County Republican Party’s Central Committee representing Ward 4,
City of Bexley. The picture was taken at the Franklin County Judicial
Salute fundraiser held last year that raised $53,000 for the Republican
party. Andy Geiger served as the keynote speaker for the event. Reed also
serves on the Board of the Columbus Literacy Council, the Columbus Bar
Association, and is Past President of the Bexley Lions Club.
