graduated from Miami University in 1966 and received his law degree
from The Ohio State University in 1969.

John and his wife, JoAnn, have lived in Bexley since 1971 where they
have raised their four children, Kristin, Kerry, Kevin and Katie,
all graduates of Bexley High School. As a result of his kid’s sports
endeavors, John spent a considerable amount of time traveling the
city, county and state to watch his kids compete. John served as
president of the Greater Columbus Swim Team.
In addition to his wife and family, John’s true passions in life
have been the Bexley Schools and the City of Bexley, where he has
served as chairperson of the Bexley Education Foundation, of which
he is still a board member and the City of Bexley where has served

John can’t envision having raised his family in a better community
than Bexley. He recalls a conversation with one of his children who
had just returned from their first year of college who said “What a
great community Bexley is to raise a family”. That said it all for
John.
