Betsy Townsend Zahn – Upper Arlington OH
I’m disappointed not
to see news from any of our class members, even though I realize we
are dwindling in numbers. We finally had to give up on class
reunions because of that. I think I’m one of the few, or maybe the
only one, who still has a husband living. He will be 92 in May of
2011. My sister, June, is still living at 90! “Hello” to anyone
who remembers me and still gets the newsletter.

Not many of us left in
town. Not many of us left, period! I’ve been lucky so far,
healthwise. Talk to Gloria Gerhold frequently and Bob Duffy several
times a year. Nancy is not well. Heard from Ernie Plank and
Bernard Frosh in February. Wish more of our class would keep in
touch, including writing something in the alumni newsletter.

It's always sad to lose some more of our classmates. Meredith Beck
Kloss, our class valedictorian, died on May 12, 2008; Jo Ann Shaffer
Froton on March 8, 2008 and Sarah Jane Oliver Moore on May 11, 2008.
Our sympathy goes out to all of the families. This should have been
the year for our 65th reunion but I didn't think there were enough
of us left to have one. If anyone thinks I'm wrong, get in touch
with me and maybe we can plan a 66th!
