Lisa Weissenbach Perrin – Columbus OH
BHS'56 girls meet on the third Monday each
month at Bexley's Rusty Bucket to discuss the weather, local,
national and personal news and anything else of interest.
Attendance varies. In November there were seven local "girls"
-Nancy Metzger Beck, Marilyn Varley Cherry, Pat Stebelton Hendrix,
Peggy Hammersmith Kaplan, Lisa Weissenbach Perrin, Babs Jones
Thorson and Anita Morris St. John. As these seven arrived, surprise
was evident as each one saw Bobby Cohen in our midst. He was
visiting his radio news reporter brother here and fortunately found
the group. Not only was Bobby more than welcome, but any other
loyal 56ers are welcome when in town on the right Monday. Our only
official business on the agenda last month was the next class
reunion. Our rather casual decision was that having a reunion in
the fall of 2012 would not only to give us more time to plan but
also to have a 56th reunion of the Class of '56. Is that at least
somewhat clever? It will be somewhat less spectacular than our 50th
because we have less energy! As soon as we have more information,
there will be a mailing.

Joan Dye
Hein – The Villages FL
Living a new lifestyle here. Bridge, theatre, pickle ball, sailing
and live music every night in the town square. I have two guest
rooms and would love to have any Bexley friends come for a visit.
Call for reservations @ 352/430-2928. I still spend my summers @
Buckeye Lake.

Joyce McColm Morris – Cleveland OH
Graduated from Capital University, Methodist
Theological School (Masters) and United Seminary (Doctorate). I
pastor a UCC church in Historic Tremont area of Cleveland and my
partner and I live nearby with her two sons (Ethan, 11 and Phillip,
9). In addition, I serve on the board for the Cleveland
Philharmonic Orchestra and the Agency Advisory Board of the
Cleveland Food Bank, and am a part-time chaplain at Fairview
Hospital. Although most sports have become things of the past, due
to age and arthritis, occasionally I get in a golf game and my
hobbies have become home renovation and woodworking. If you get to
Cleveland, give me a call. I’m looking forward to the 50th reunion
this year.

Ardith Thompson Luke – Southport NC
Amazing. Our 50th reunion this year! I’m
making plans to be there. After spending thirty years as a Navy
wife, living all over in great places, I’m settled in NC in a
terrific golf community on the Coast between Myrtle Beach and
Wilmington. Being single has its rewards. Still playing good golf,
involved with Habitat and some other organizations. Retired from
nursing last year and enjoying life at the beach. Y’all come down –
door always open!!
