(This article, reprinted with permission, featuring Cassingham Elementary, appeared in The Columbus Dispatch on September 7, 2004) Bexley elementary earns international designation Bexley's Cassingham Elementary has been approved to become an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme school, the district announced.
International Baccalaureate means the
school will develop a rigorous curriculum that focuses on exploring and
acquiring knowledge, stronger teaching and inquisitive students. The
program is more common in high schools, but the Primary Years Programme
is for students ages 3 to 12.
